As I have previously mentioned on here, I have been involved in the creation of an artist collective in Grand Forks North Dakota.
We have been working very hard to create somewhere that people can go to create and show their art. June 9th is the big day, we will be opening up our gallery to the public and having our first show.
I can’t wait for this to happen, it is nice to see all of our hard work actually paying off in such a positive way. Please check out our Facebook page and like it if you have an interest in our progress.
I had the most amazing hair cut experience today. I went to one of the better salons around town for the first time ever, and I must say it was worth the time and money!!
First she started off with putting some root oil stuff in my hair and giving me a scalp massage for about 5 minutes which felt wonderful.. I had to consciously keep myself from making audible noises of delight.
Next she washed it for me and while she let the conditioner sit for a little while I got a hand massage, more wonderful-ness.
She cut my hair exactly how I asked which made the end of the cut nice because I didn’t have to feign excitement over a new haircut I was going to end up crying about later in private.
Last, I have a super weird and awkward cowlick in the part of my hair that makes bangs for me nearly impossible, I have had stylists refuse to attempt bangs because of this. She did such a great job on them, and I am so happy.
After the appointment was over I scheduled another one 8 weeks from now with the same stylist. Thank you so much Amy for easily one of the best cuts I have ever had. : D
If you are the mood for a good laugh, I suggest taking a look.
Tumblr, you are ruining my life.
